Unchecked (default): only fetch metadata + thumbnail and stream the video directly from the source.

Uses yt-dlp on the server. Downloading large files will block the request; metadata-only is fast.

Import from local folder

Scan the server folder /home/k/summer for video files and import each one, inferring all metadata (codecs, dimensions, duration, embedded tags) from the file itself. Files already imported are skipped.
